I'm Pavle Gaković, a DevOps engineer and system administrator from Serbia. I maintain production infrastructure for electronic shelf label (ESL) systems in retail.
Beyond running servers, I build tools and applications that solve real operational problems, from monitoring dashboards and data processing to mobile and desktop apps.
I manage a fleet of 13 Linux servers on Hetzner (CentOS 7.9 and 9) running containerized ESL microservices.
Docker environments with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Nacos, EMQX, nginx, and Java applications.
fail2ban, open-port audits, Hetzner Cloud Firewall, and SSH key-only access across all servers.
MySQL and MongoDB backups over rclone/SFTP, with dedicated read-only users for data access.
Resolving container restart loops, Nacos OOM errors and thread exhaustion, and network outages.
I build tools and applications that solve real operational problems. See the projects below.
